Tim began The Refuge in 2006 with a core group of people committed to beginning a church that would minister to hurting people and expand God’s kingdom. Pastor Tim graduated from the Moody Bible Institute in 1981 and has been involved in ministry ever since. He pastored four other churches before beginning The Refuge. Tim writes a weekly column that appears in several papers. He and his wife Kelly live in the Oakville area of South St. Louis County. They have five children, Johanna, Jedidiah, Cassandra, Ashley and Nick. Pastor Tim is passionate about helping people inside and outside the church. In his free time he’s an avid photographer, who takes around 10,000 pictures each year.
